The annual Bristol International Balloon Fiesta  is hosted by the 'Avon (Bristol) DA' and is a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

This scottish piper was definately the largest ballon at the fiesta. When taking off pipe music was played out of the PA System.

Over 100 balloons took off in about 45mins

The night glow is one part of the fiesta not to be missed.
